Archiving Policy

JPAPS (Journal of Public Affairs and Political Studies) is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation and accessibility of all published content. Our journal utilizes both international and national digital archiving systems to safeguard the scholarly record.

1 LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe): JPAPS participates in the LOCKSS program to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries, ensuring permanent and secure preservation of the published content.
2 PKP Preservation Network (PKP PLN): All articles published in JPAPS are archived in the PKP Preservation Network, providing long-term access and disaster recovery.
3 Garuda (Garba Rujukan Digital): As a national initiative, all published articles are also indexed and preserved in the Indonesian national repository, Garuda, for wider visibility and long-term accessibility.

JPAPS also encourages authors to self-archive the final published version of their articles in institutional or subject repositories, in accordance with our open access policy.
